I have my car to keep me warm…

Customer Review of 2021 Lincoln Aviator Reserve AWD
Manufacturer: The Lincoln Motor Company, Chicago
Dealer: Lincoln Heights Ford Sales Limited, Richmond Road, Ottawa, ON Canada
Lincoln Heights Ford Sales Limited

February 12, 2021

Introduction:

This is a favourable review of the 2021 Lincoln Aviator and the Lincoln Heights dealership that handled the sale to me on February 9, 2021.

I am an individual with no connection whatever to either the Manufacturer, Dealer or any member thereof. This report is given without compensation or expectation thereof of any sort.

My first car was an entry-level Ford Mustang, a gift from my father in 1975 when I was a Don, Devonshire House, University of Toronto while attending Osgoode Hall for admission to the Ontario Bar as a Barrister, Solicitor & Notary Public.  I have owned no less than 26 cars, all of which (except one used Cadillac) were new, all of which were domestic manufacturers (GM and Ford), 11 of which have been Lincolns (LS, Town Car, MKS, Continental and Aviator).

Facts:

The 2021 Lincoln Aviator is an unqualified delight.

I am a typical old fogey who prefers driving on clean highways no faster than 100 km/hr though I also enjoy having the power to get onto the highway from the feeder lanes effortlessly. I like driving my car.  I often drive with the windows and landau roof open.  Though I regularly use the Sirius XM radio I as regularly use my Bluetooth phone connection for personal music choices.

My previous 2020 Lincoln Aviator was purchased April 13, 2020 and had about 44,000 kms when traded on February 9, 2021 for the 2021 Lincoln Aviator. My automobile insurer covers me for an estimated 45,000 km/annum.

Application:

My acquaintances over the years at Lincoln Heights Ford Sales Limited have been regularly with the following people:

Les Bell, Dealer Principal
Les is unfailing polite and professional. He goes out of his way to impart a familial idiom to the commercial relationship. He is clearly assiduous of the dealership and its staff.

David Cameron, General Manager
David is unfailing polite and professional. He is prompt, helpful and attentive to the immediate customer needs.

Denis Duhaime, Sales Associate
Denis is unfailing polite and professional.  He is the “contact man” when the keys are turned over. He knows the details for operation of the vehicle and he dedicates himself both before and after the completion of the sale to satisfaction of the customer.

Jeff Mosher and Pat Cameron, Finance Managers
Jeff and Pat are unfailing polite and professional.  They are both diligent and attentive to the financial details.

John Walsh, Delivery Coordinator
John is unfailing polite and professional. He is seemingly ubiquitous throughout the dealership, available always to assist when required for whatever reason. He is a man of many talents who actively seeks to soothe the needs of the customer.

Evan Bell, Service Manager
Evan is unfailingly polite and professional. He is often the first point of contact early in the morning at the service depot. He is a man of cheery disposition, dedicated to problem solving and providing assistance.

Dean Wilkinson, Kelly Thomas and Hussien Abdel Aal, Service Advisors
Dean, Kelly and Hussien are unfailingly polite and professional. They are all attentive, accurate and service-oriented.

Wayde Kingsley, Shop Foreman
Wayde is unfailingly polite and professional. He is clearly driven by an inquiring mind and is service oriented.  I regret never to have known his capable Technicians who are obviously in the background from the customer but I have never once complained of the resulting service.

The only persons omitted from this account are those in the Parts Department with whom I have had no contact. Otherwise there are no omissions from this account for any other reason.

Conclusion:

The product and people are terrific!

The product is a credit to the industry in general and to the Manufacturer in particular.

There are two outstanding themes of the Dealership; namely, politeness and professionalism.

I blame my father and grandfather for having insinuated within me their own passion for the automobile!

The snow is snowing and the wind it is blowing
But I can weather the storm
What do I care how much it may storm
I’ve got my love to keep me warm

I cannot remember the worst December
Just watch the icicles form
What do I care if icicles form
I’ve got my love to keep me warm

Off with my overcoat off with my gloves
Who needs an overcoat I’m burning with love
My heart’s on fire and the flame grows higher
So I will weather the storm

What do I care how much it may storm
I’ve got my love to keep me warm
I thought you ought to know my heart’s on fire
The flame it just leaps higher

So I will weather the storm
Why do I care how much it storms
I’ve got my love
To keep me warm
I’ve got my love to keep me warm
