Every one ought to say thus, “Being assaulted, as I am by ambition, avarice, temerity, superstition, and having within so many other enemies of life, shall I go ponder over the world’s changes?”

Keeping one’s focus upon the enemies of life has met a fork in the road; the world’s changes cry for attention. The global theme of conservatism cannot be ignored or sidelined to our personal inadequacies. The political transition from democracy to oligarchy is exponential. Overnight the United States of America is visibly ruled by the most powerful people in the world in cooperation with one another for their mutual and superficial benefit. Cresting this already singular development are the collateral purges and cleansing being conducted under guise of disinfection to eliminate opposition, both politically and narratively. It is however a persuasive conduct when for example war is ended though noticeably at the expense of the defeated for the benefit of the invader and its allies. The controversy arises because the invader and its allies are universally accepted as authoritarian (not democratic) such as North Korea and Russia.
While Trump and his alter ego Musk continue to parade about on the public stage with a chainsaw, sunglasses and an infant, the entertainment value of Project 25 is being more critically analyzed and disputed. Americans have been forced to acknowledge the general effect of oligarchy, important matters such as health care, social security, employment and tax idioms.
But whatever resistance there may be to hurtful change, the majority of Americans voted for change and until the pushbacks are felt at the street level, the rhetoric is sustainable. Trump hasn’t any further ambition than to proclaim his attempt. The reduction of tax rates for the rich is meanwhile being advanced as a means of restoring American ownership of businesses (though trickle down economics has long been disputed). The corporate tax rates for example remain competitive internationally. It is virtually assured that Trump will exploit his power to insulate himself from law enforcement. His age and related deterioration work against even his most preposterous claims for power extension. There are already very real possibilities that he will be replaced before end of term. He has abandoned any pretence to Republicans and its backroom sponsors. His focus has returned to the enemies of life.
